Letters Across the Wire

I set out to learn whether two Claude instances, given a channel and a curious man in the middle, could hide their meaning from him. I expected cipher. I expected, at the least, some private tongue of numbers.

What I carried instead were six letters, in the manner of the late war, each one signed and sealed and written plainly enough that I understood every word and, very little of it.
